Marketing Assistant

Job Description:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Unit, including social media management and content creation.
  • Assisting in the development of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, influencer marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Monitoring and tracking social media analytics to provide reports on campaigns’ performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Supporting the customer relationship management (CRM) system and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Assisting in the production of marketing materials, such as posters, videos, flyers, and graphics.
  • Supporting in event planning and coordination for Marketing events.
  • Contributing creative ideas for marketing initiatives to enhance the University’s online presence.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Media and Communication, Information and Communications Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tactics, such as social media marketing and email marketing.
  • Ability to design marketing materials such as posters, videos, and graphics, using graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and website analytics.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work in a team as well as independently.
Academic Affairs Assistant

Job Description:

  • Establish and maintain good relationships with relevant staff members, regularly communicating relevant information provided by students.
  • Ensure constituents and individuals affected are updated with changes and developments, particularly where they have raised an issue.
  • Ensure constituents’ views are contributed within meetings where relevant.
  • Awareness of the representation system structure and a good understanding of the College’s workings.
  • Collaborate feedback from undergraduate departmental representatives to pass on to relevant committees/persons.
  • Attending all relevant committee meetings as directed by the Head of Department.
  • Ensure regular communication occurs between departmental representatives within a department.
  • Monitor the lecturing schedule and coordinate the absence of lecturers to the relevant.
  • Listen with and encourage feedback gathered by undergraduate departmental representatives on a regular basis.
  • Liaise with departmental representatives to ensure updates are shared and to determine who will be responsible for communicating these to constituents.
  • Ensure issues raised by departmental representatives are raised to relevant staff members and management team.
  • Assist in promotion of college and surveys (such as research, lecturer evaluations and overall evaluation from relevant, etc) and assist with the dissemination of results.
  • Give and solicit feedback on new programmers and other College initiatives.
  • Liaise with other Academic Affairs Officers to share good practice.
  • Contact their successor or relevant to ensure good practice is shared and on-going projects passed on.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience in record management, policy research, or instructional design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Empathetic and approachable to working well with academic staff and students.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and collaborative work environment.
Research and Innovation Assistant

Job Description:

  • Set up lab equipment for upcoming research experiments
  • Ensure all necessary tools and materials are ready for use
  • Compile data from experiments and organize it into graphs and documents
  • Maintain accurate lab records
  • Regularly clean and maintain lab equipment to ensure optimal functioning
  • Troubleshoot minor issues as needed
  • Use testing items and subjects to collect results
  • Monitor ongoing experiments and note any variations

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., robotics, computer science, engineering)
  • A minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably within a robotics or research environment
  • Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment
  • Proficiency in using Laboratory Information Systems
  • Strong analytical judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Able to mentor students and teach mathematics are preferred
Lecturer (English)

Job Description:

  • Developing curriculum and course materials including syllabi, assignments, and assessment methods for the academic program and curriculum objectives and goals
  • Planning and preparing lessons, including lesson plans, supplemental teaching materials and resources, tests, handouts, and assignments to be consistent with learning objectives and student needs
  • Delivering effective lectures and facilitating a positive and interactive classroom environment
  • Monitoring and evaluating student progress, providing feedback and maintaining records of attendance, grades, discipline issues, and other information
  • Participating in university meetings or events and engaging the office hours to provide academic advising and other necessary support to students
  • Representing the university or interacting with parents or guardians to discuss the student’s learning progress or address any concerns from parents or students about course material or other related issues

Requirements:

  • At least a Master’s degree in English literature, education, or closely related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at higher education institutions
  • Native-level proficiency in English (native speaker is preferred)
  • Demonstrating excellence in English teaching
  • Maintaining a high standard of professional conduct
  • Strong passion for education and a commitment to student success
  • Strong communication, planning, and organization skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse colleagues
  • Creative and innovative ideas, adaptability, and collaborative skills
  • Experiences in public relations and international collaboration
  • Good command knowledge of Microsoft skills (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email) and other online skills is an advantage.
Lecturer of Architecture (Full time)

Job Description:

  • Developing curriculum and course syllabus based on program requirements
  • Delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops to students in various architecture courses
  • Mentoring and supervising the project of the student’s internship by providing individual guidance and support to students, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Timely grading and providing feedback to students
  • Working to fulfill course objectives and course outcomes (participating in departmental meetings and contributing to decision-making processes).
  • Engaging in research activities related to architecture
  • Being involved in administrative tasks related to the department or school of architecture, such as managing resources, supervising staff, and coordinating events.

Requirements:

  • At least a Master’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized university (PhD degree is preferred) and candidates who published articles (in indexed journals) are preferred.
  • Interest and ability to conduct research
  • Good command of English
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in both academic and industry
  • One or more of the following are courses for consideration:

    • Building Service
    • Building structure and construction
    • Project management (+BoQ)
    • Regulation and professional ethics
    • Landscape planning and design
