Dr. Sothy Khieng, the president of CamTech University, along with CamTech delegates, recently participated in the Inauguration of the League of Tropical Universities, which took place from November 13-15, 2023. 

The primary objective of the League is to collectively address the major challenges faced by tropical regions and enhance the global collaborations between tropical universities, research institutions, government bodies, industries, and international organizations. The League focuses on various key areas including, but not limited to, the advancement of technology, agricultural innovations, social cooperation, and climate science. By fostering a community-based approach and prioritizing collaboration in crucial domains, the League serves as a unique platform that facilitates resource sharing, talent development, joint research initiatives, technology transfer, and innovation among its member institutions.
