ASEAN is one of the most successful models for regional cooperation and integration recognized worldwide. Despite that, the association and its members have continued to face several challenges including an underdeveloped financial market, regional inequality, and limited industrial competitiveness and innovation. But under Cambodia’s chairmanship in 2022, it is strongly believed that the region will become even more resilient, inclusive, competitive, and harmonious.
