The Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Science aspires to lead in education, teaching and learning, research and innovation in the area of arts, humanities, social science and technology and to nurture graduates who are possessed of integrity, creativity, and passionate commitment to their profession as well as to social development.

In order to accomplish our vision, we will put effort to:

• Encourage lecturers to provide high quality teaching, research-informed teaching, and applied high impact research and innovation, which also engages students.
• Seek and maintain innovative teaching and learning practices in order to become a role model for good educational practices.
• Transform our graduates with the mindset that encourages lifelong learning, integrity, creativity and innovation, and professionalism so that they can become leaders in the area of arts, humanities,​ social science​ and technology-enhanced learning;
• To serve as a focal point of intellectual and academic exchange to enable local, national, and international collaboration on teaching and research in the area of arts, humanities, social science and technology-enhanced learning
