Thierry Tea is Vice Chairman of the Federation of Cambodian Startups and Vice President of OCIC. OCIC is part of Canadia Group, which also owns Canadia Bank Cambodia’s largest locally-owned bank. With 17,500 employees, OCIC is one of Cambodia’s largest conglomerates, investing in real estate, infrastructure, schools, hospitals, hotels, malls, and industrial parks. Its key projects include Phnom Penh’s Techo International Airport, one of the largest in Asia upon completion. Thierry was CEO of Airbus Helicopters Philippines and is the founder and Chairman of PhilJets, a private aviation and MRO company in Manila. PhilJets has created over 600 jobs and is a member of the Makati Business Club. He also serves on the Advisory Board of CamTech University and is a Harvard Business School OPM alumnus. Through his private equity firm, Negocia Capital, Thierry has invested in 20+ startups across Cambodia and the Philippines, focusing on social impact.
