The primary objectives of the China-ASEAN Studies Centre are:
• Promote Dialogue and Consultation: Foster open communication and constructive dialogue among policymakers, scholars, and civil society from China and ASEAN member states to address shared challenges and opportunities.
• Enhance Mutual Trust and Understanding: Build bridges of understanding and trust between diverse stakeholders to promote mutual respect, cultural exchange, and closer cooperation.
• Facilitate Policy Solutions: Co-create and co-develop innovative, evidence-based policy solutions to address pressing regional issues such as peace, security, development, and governance.
• Strengthen People-to-People Ties: Cultivate a deeper sense of community through cultural exchanges, academic collaborations, and shared learning opportunities.
