CamTech and E-GetS Sign MOU on Strategic Partnership

On the morning of November 19, the signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (hereinafter MOU) between Cambodia University of Technology and Science and E-GetS was held in Phnom Penh. CamTech President Prof. Dr. Khieng Sothy, Associate Vice President for Business Development Ms. Lilian Li, E-GetS Vice Presidents Mr. Zhang Juhui and Ms. Wang Huifang, student and teacher representatives, as well as local and international media attended the event. The ceremony marks the prologue of collaboration to advance the integration of higher education and the digital technology industry in Cambodia.

The workshop was held on the afternoon of June 30, 2022, with the participation of 44 teachers and students. In this workshop, CamTech students also shared their learning experiences and presented various projects such as AR / VR Games to the students at Sovannaphumi School.

During the event, Ms. Lilian Li outlined key initiatives under the MOU. As part of the collaboration, CamTech and E-GetS will jointly establish an employment training and internship base, designed to bridge academic knowledge with cutting-edge industry practice. Furthermore, E-GetS will offer USD 100,000 to CamTech’s scholarship fund for talent development and targeted training. Ms. Li praised E-GetS’s support and highlighted that these efforts will equip students with more profound professional experience, fostering new talent for Cambodia’s digital transformation.

In his address, Mr. Zhang Juhui gave a detailed introduction to E-GetS’s development history, business scope, and corporate culture. He emphasized that the company will leverage its technological and platform strengths to collaborate with CamTech in operating the training base, offering students practical opportunities, scholarships, and specialized training programs. The partnership aims to cultivate versatile talent for the digital economy and drive Cambodia’s digital transformation.

Following the speeches, senior representatives from CamTech and E-GetS signed the MOU and officially established their partnership. As a symbol of the cooperation’s transition into action, CamTech presented E-GetS the honorary “Employment Training and Internship Base” plaque, while E-GetS provided a USD 100,000 scholarship for the university.

The collaboration between CamTech and E-GetS demonstrates a strong synergy between industry and academia. Through complementary strengths, the two parties strive to promote talent cultivation and technology innovation, driving integration and development across the education and technology sectors.
